Hyperlinked Text

People can access the chat either by clicking on hyperlinked text or clicking the chat button.

Overview

Launching the chat with hyperlinked text allows you to guide people’s behaviour in context to which page they’re on or what copy they’re reading. This is especially helpful in places in the customer journey where people typically experience confusion or hesitation.

For example, you can add text that says “Ask us about our refund policy” on the checkout page of your website, which triggers the chat with a conversational flow that would put customers’ minds at ease and encourage them to hit the checkout button.

How to set it up

Step 1

Follow Ada’s technical Embed documentation to learn how to add Ada to your website.

Attached is the code snippet you need to paste into the <head> tag.
